Will he get another chance before the play offs?Would be good if he could regain some of his previous form.What does everyone think?

Cant see him being match fit and up to play off standard in all honesty

Based on his matches so far he looks a long way off his pre-injury form and unless he has a substantial improvement in the next few weeks I wouldn't pick him.

he was best player in the league IMO until he got his unfortunate injury. wigan scored some great tries when he was playing at full back. since then wigan aren't as big a threat from deep IMO

Might be worth giving him a run out for the bradford game

I wouldnt risk him in a playoff game without first testing the water as so to speak

Depending upon where he's at. If Madge feels he's ready to play first team then he can play against KR and Bradford for me. Then we'll all know where he's at.

A fit and in top form Amos Roberts could be just what we need to take us to that next level offensivley. He's capeable of things on the park that no other Wigan player is, and for that reason if he's fit he must play.

Same here. No point waiting until the play offs to find out he isn't fit or on form.

The games will either get him fitter for the play offs or end his season and we need to know one way or the other.

Did he play for the 20's this weekend?

Is he injury free at the moment, or just lacking match fitness or confidence?
He went off early against Bradford in the U20's last week, saw him make a break in the Youtube highlights but he was running as if he was treading through treacle looking for other players around him.

Disappointing as he was in blistering form prior to taking on the rugby posts versus Wakefield.

A bit of both really. Initially they were injured, then playing in the u20's to regain fitness but haven't been able to break back into the first team really.

It's more of an injury problem with Amos. I think he came back too soon for the CC game aginst Leeds and it set him back a fair way. He hasn't really looked right since and has been playing U20's to get some sharpness back
