Was great today, continuing what has been a very good season for him - really hope he stays next year.

What I can't understand though is why its taken him 4 years to start doing one of the things that made him so dangerous at Bradford - turning in the tackle and offloading the ball.

Which makes no sense whatsoever seeing as his coach at Bradford was Noble and his coach for 75% of his career was Noble.

Which try? He made a mistake when trying to clear up the loose ball, I wouldn't say it was because he had a 'mad head'.

A fired up Stuart Fielden is better than the timid one we've seen for the best part of the last 4 years.

That's why he's targetted, he loses it and costs the team . That's why IL is offering him a vastly reduced contract and that's why he hasn't signed it yet. He has improved drastically but he is still only worth a 50-70 Grand a year contract.

Was absolutely superb tonight. Made one big mistake when he offloaded to Farrell when there was no need too, but he was my mom by a long long way.

I didnt see Mason involved much after the incident... Fielden still kept making the yards.

Here's a totally independent view. Mason is a poor imitation of a decent prop forward. What he did tonight was cowardly and could have caused Fielden a serious injury. What it actually did was wind Fielden up and he had his best game for a long time.
Mason deserves a visit to Red Hall on Tuesday afternoon and a 3-4 game ban.

fielden was my man of the match tonight the way the game was going there was no way they could risk Davies and Feka was pretty poor for me so we essentially played with two and a bit props. The mistake was not his fault he shouldn't have been left in that position. Suprised how many hudds fans couldn't be bothered to go support their team.

I thought he was brilliant today. He definitely deserved to be our MOM.
