Oh dear.
Still Im sure Saints decision makers don't think they are taking a gamble giving their recruitment outlay and fact they need to get people to travel to Widnes. They clearly think he is the right man. Id like to know who else was up for the job though.
Obviously, I hope the West's fans are correct and then some. |

| Simmons could turn out to be a revelation at Saints. But there's a real strong feeling of John Dorahyitis about this appointment.
One thing's for sure, he's no Mal Meninga and he's no Craig Bellamy. They were the names being banded around a few months ago.
Saints fans are currently making great play of him once running five marathons in five days to raise recruitment money at Hull. At 51, I doubt he'll be doing that again. But who knows, maybe Cunningham, as the new fitness guru, can step into that role. |
