It's the only reason I love the club call! It's something different and puts us ahead of all other sports for 1 day on the news.

I'd love to experience it in 3d, but aren't a big fan of watching the games in pubs. Will have to wait till the £2000 price tag for these 3dTVs comes down when sky3d is launched in home in autumn :S

How was the 3D for anyone who watched? I heard it doesnt work well when it rains.... in terms of the game I dont think it would have excited many neutrals as much as i and everyone thought, too many errors ruined the game for me, and the ref was abit whistle happy at the beginning, didnt let it flow.

It was outstanding mate. I loved it - it blew me away tbh, I had heard plenty of people say it was no big deal, but it is completely revolutionary!

As for the game, there were more than enough big hits and tension to appease the neutrals.

Yep, commented ealier, it's brilliant. I wasn't expecting too much due to some comments read on these boards, but I was glad I went out of my way to see it in 3D.

The quality was just breathtaking. It took a little getting used to at times as some of the camera angles were weird. They had 3 side cameras. One on each 10m line, and one on the halfway, so at times it was a bit like that moving camera they had for the Grand Final last year, but you soon got used to it.

I would recommend anybody goes out of their way to watch 3D next time they do a game.

It's a shame that we'll have to wait until the Grand Final to see it again

not really the game is being replayed everyday from tuesday so you could go take a peak at it.

True, but in this case it's competition between two incompatible technologies - will end up a bit like all the people who bought Betamax VCR's before VHS became the standard (for those old enough to remember the olden days...).
