Who up for the Wigan V Warrington Game in 3D at the walkabout on the 16th????

I can't imagine it being great in there with the crap big screen they have

3d is on the 2 new 50" plasmas and the screen is now full HD

A cynical person might describe this thread as a non too subtle plug for the Walkabout.

They have 4D at disney world in florida.

i really don't fancy the whole 3D malarkey, for films never mind sport. because i wear glasses all the time anyway, i can never win with the 3D gigs you get given to watch said 3D event with. think i need my eyes lasering!

plus i think its cack anyway. even the recent nuts and zoo 3D special magazines were pants!!!

would rather watch it in person myself : )

3D TV's that you don't need special glasses for are under development.

You have got to be joking right? This is usually said by people who have not got the 1st clue about it. Some people still think it involves cardboard 'glasses' with red and green cellophane in them.

I am aware what 3D is and have watched many films without the 'cardboard red and greeen cellophane' and my opinion is, it is very ovverated. What's the difference apart from objects looking to come your way. rather be there in with all the atmosphere then watch it with glasses on.

little plug yes as i am the marketing manager there now but also it was to see if ppl are in to the whole 3d thing the 2 tvs that are 3d in the walkabout are on the bottom bar when you walk in and at the back of the top bar along the back.

3d is hear me i still not sure as not watch a sports game in 3d yet, the wigan game wil be my 1st.

the problem, SKY have done no advertising for it just a few mentions on the Live games and boot's n all. My big problem is getting ppl to no about it.

Wigan are making a massive deal over the game and so are we at the walkabout. we had a lot in as always for the wigan v dragons away game on sunday i want to keep the customers in for away games and get ppl that don't get chance to go the home game v warrington to watch it in 3d. so any imput and help to make it better at the walkabout for us fans is a big deal for me.

Think I might apply for a management position in Walkabout, I'd walk it.
