| Been really impressed with him the last couple of games.
Thought he was our best prop last week against Stains and ran it really hard and straight again yesterday when we needed someone else to step up with Coley out. The very first run of the game when he ran at Howell and put him on his @rse completely took one of their attacking threats out for the rest of the game as Howell didn't seem to want to know after that.
Had my concerns about him earlier this season, especially with regard to how he carried the ball and his impact in the collision, but if he carries on this form to the rest of the season, it will help take some of the pressure off Fielden and Coley.

| I must say I thought last week he played his best game for a long time, but didn't get much credit for it because of the result. For me Prescott was going to have to improve or he'd be on his way, perhaps Madge has told his something similar and now were seeing a response.
It'll be nice to see O'Barrel back to, before his injury he was for me our second best prop.
It appears as though all our props seem to coming into their best form for the run in to the finals.

| Pleased to hear he had a good game yesterday and he was decent against Saints but I have to say its about time.
Considering how strong he was last season and how much he'd progressed from the year before, I think he's been very disappointing this year - he's taken a step backwards.
But like I said good that he's getting it together.

| Have to agree, i thought the lads days were numbered due to mediocre performances but in the last couple of games he has been terrific. Regular performances like that will earn him a starting shirt.

| Good to hear, for me he is a good tackler and does alot of work but goes down too easy instead of making a drive, if he improves on that then he can stay at Wigan for ever for me!

| we are 20 games into the season and we are congratulating him for finally joining the party!
not good enough, and does not deserve a new contact. cannot argue his defense is not good as it is, his go forward is poor. move on please
not Wigan quality

All I can say is I'm glad you aren't running the club.
Guys like Prescott, Burgess at Leeds or Hargreaves at Saints are the guys that let you spend the big bucks on other front line players.

The value of British prop forwards are becoming very high at the moment with the Quota coming down and the simple lack of them. I think that is why we are seeing players like Lee Mossop and Ben Harrison being moved to prop so early in their careers. It could also be why Gareth Hock is being built up to play at prop.
Louie McCarthy Scarsbrook is a fine example of the above. He's not the best in the league, but he is still a young, british prop forward, with his best years ahead of him and so his value soars and Saints, Leeds and us are rumoured to be chasing him.

| Aye, I to have been critical of Prescott this season, shame really as he does have the potential and has shown glimpses in seasons gone by(granted he to has some horrible injuries) . But I'm glad hes starting again to show some good performances because I do see potential in him especially with the size on him. For a bloke his size he does have some good foot work but needs to run the lines better. I do think though if he doesn't improve further he will start to struggle if the likes of Farrell, Tuson, Davies etc.. progress to be better players than him.
