We will need to be very good to get a result there. They will not put in two performances so poor back to back.

No idea to be honest, but Brough and B Hodgson need to dramatically improve their form for next week..

We tired them out last week and also knocked their confidence.

After yesterday i think its them who need to be very good against us

I personally think Brown lost the plot this week and showed some real signs of weakness as a coach, he needs to concentrate on coaching his team and making the right selections for the club. To play Brett Hodgson yesterday was a really poor error in my opinion, clearly not fit at all.

I have no problem with what he said regards Locky but he should have said it behind closed doors to his team, i feel getting the media involved has taken some of the focus of playing the game.

They are a good side and if they concentrate on playing rugby they will give us a tough game, i think though Brown may well show more weakness and send his players out to do the rough stuff and if they do that i think we are smart enough and have the backs to really hurt them on the scoreboard should they go down that route.

surely given what brown said last week, whoever ref's will be taking a pretty hard line from the start. (surely even the toothless RFL cant miss the irony in being able to point out to NB how 'ruthless' they are on over aggressive play, espy if its one of NBs boys that suffers

the key next week is going to be discipline, because that rant has just raised the bar for BOTH sets of players. so long as we keep our cool and dont retaliate, this could backfire badly and leave him with egg on his face 3 weeks in a row.

It takes an awful lot to bounce back from a disaster like that.

don't think what we saw yesterday was a bad performance by Huddersfield. I thought it was a catastrophic performance. It was the sort of defeat that can knock you off your perch for the entire season. It was on a par with the 75-0 defeats Wigan suffered a few years ago, which we know were the result of the Wigan club being in turmoil.

I'm now wondering if something is going on in the back rooms at Huddersfield. We know, for instance, that there may be a court case pending against some of the players. And Brown, who is clearly a far more volatile personality than we realised, migh not be the cool head that's needed to steer them through such rocky waters.

Was thinking about Brown's reputation at St George as I was reading through the posts. CB's pictures kinda prove the point, not sure he is the sharpest pencil in the pot either, particularly after last week's little outburst.
There are more problems than meet the eye at Hudds at the moment and I'm not sure if I can see Brown staying there for too much longer, especially if some of the NRL teams continue to show the form they are - Sharks, Cowboys and Warriors.

Might not be a bad thing though, we could pick up a few players - Eorl, Kev Brown and Lunt?

I would have kev brown back here in a shot.

He coul;d either play at 6 with sam at 7 or could play at centre.

Likewise he could play at 6 with sam at 1.

Brown would be an exceptional addition to the squad but it would take a transfer fee and i just cant see it ever happening.

We rattled Brown last week and and Warrington well and truly stomped him this week

Did anybody see his big guys puting themselves about? I saw Mason get smacked in the face by the ball

I'm probally on my own in this but I've never been convinced with all the hype about them I expect to win next week

they are a solid team but nothing else IMO

I still don't understand them trying to integrate Brough into the squad part way into the season - surely it will have affected all their pre season preparation and gameplans, attack and defence patterns, just about everything trying to swap scrum half.

What a mistake it was for them signing Brough eh! He has done nothing for them so far, if anything they have been on the decline since he signed. Seems to distrupt clubs wherever he goes, I always wondered why clubs he was at - i.e Hull, Cas and Wakey didnt fight to keep him because he looks a class act. Glad we steered clear!

My prediction has proved true so far.

He's still a very talented player tho and it's hard to believe a player can lose that much form in such a short space of time.

Maybe Brown just isn’t a good of a coach as what he thinks he is?

Kear certainly seemed to get the best out of Brough and I think Brough would have liked to have stayed under Kear’s leadership but sadly Wakey aren’t a big enough club to match his ambitions. I’d hardly call that a player messing around or being a bad influence and I guess the same could be said of his step up from Cas to Wakey as well.

There is only so much a team can do if a player wants to move to a bigger team isn’t there?

Even if Brough is ‘trouble’ teams will still want him as he’s a talented player and each coach thinks they will be able to deal with him. Just like Anelka in football anyone?

Having watched Huddersfield live for the past 2 weeks, I didn't realise that Brough was playing at all until reading the teamsheet. I've said for ages that the Huddersfield pack is over-rated, just watch Crabtree tackling, he's invariably the 3rd or 4th player into the tackle. Brown should never have played Brett Hodgson yesterday, he was completely unfit, it even showed up in the warm up. Huddersfield were awful, but we had one of those days where everything goes right. If you have the right attitude next week you'll stuff them.

THAT, you can be sure of. Brown's comments to the press will have made sure of that.

when they showed the hudds dressing room at halftime yesterday all the players looked like they would rather be at home!

Vicious b*stard that ball, all that big boy was doing was running about the pitch protecting the littler boys when bang that ball just went straight in for a malicious high shot - where was the ref?... the touch judges?, nobody lifted a finger. Can't have biff like this going on in a non-physical game like rugby league.
