Well what a stupid thing to say especially to the media. I have no doubt coaches may say something similar behind closed doors rightly or wrongly.

Before the match he was our ally saying all the fuss about Wigan being negative etc was rubbish and last year it was Hudds that got it in the neck for their tactics but now they didn't get slagged off because the whingers had another target i.e. us. He also said we were not doing grapple tackles or chicken wing tackles just getting three men in fairly.

It was cheap, late and uncalled for.

I thought Lockers did hit him late, but the way Robinson turn's when he's doing those switches are textbook. If you watch him he's very good at turning so the defense can't see the ball, sometimes he gives it sometimes he sticks, Lockers hit on suspicion. I did think it was high to be honest, but like one of the commentators said at the time, he only kind of shoved him, he didn't use the forearm or the elbow.

Oh, and I fully expect Lockers to get a lengthy ban, and Brown to get nothing from the RFL.

It was a dirty cheap shot by O'Loughlin that went un-punished. Never made a difference to the result but i can see why he'd be un-happy.

For me he is right. If O.Loughlin can go out and do that then surely he can instruct his the likes of Faalongo to go out and hurt O'Loughlin, because lets put it one wat nobody in SL would in their right mind mess with Faalongo. He is a animal.

Yes - it was a late tackle and a high one and Lockers should have probably got 10 minutes. But it's one talking point from a hard-fought contest where both sides defended aggressively.

Spouting off like this just looks dummy-spitting. And yes, I would say that if the same thing had happened in reverse and Maguire had come out with that lot after the match.

It was committed, unless you have a fecking inertial dampener like in Star Trek fitted to your you would have done exactly the same while running in. Did you ever play rugby?

If it was the intentional cheap shot you're making out he would have led with his forearm or swung for his head like a couple of other forwards in the league are prone to to. It was a definite penalty, and could be argued to deserve a yellow for the lateness, but never in a million years was it an intentional late tackle on a guy without the ball.

Yes i did, re-watch it, he doesn't even raise his arms until after the ball has gone.

Watch it again yourself, he was running full pelt at the time the ball was released and put his arms out infront of him, didn't lead with the forearm or go for the head.

How exactly do you change your momentum in that scenario? when you figure out the answer, send it to Mr Newton and ask him to rewrite his laws of motion.

If players turn their backs to hide the ball and their intentions (pass or dummy), then they are going to get mullered. They present their backs and become a target - is Lockers supposed to wait until he turns to check if he's passed or dummied? No, he's gonna smash him.

Lockers was committed, but certainly carried it through rather enthusiastically. Contact was in the chest and was pretty harmless. I thought it would be 10 mins, or on report and was surprised when no action was taken.

Brown has just exploded a nothing incident.

I definitely think it was late, and could have got 10 mins or an on report, but no way was it cheap or intentional.
