| We looked much more organised with Sam off the pitch?
Although I've only watched the game at the DW and yet to see it on Sky I thought we looked better when he went off. Tommy ran the show and not only ran well but also kicked well.
Also if Madge is true to his word Feka should be in next week. He's been dropped after having no worse of a game than Fielden had this week. Fielden has been exceptional this year but wasn't great tonight and Feka deserves his chance.

| Fielden had a better game tonight than feka has ever put in at Wigan; certainly this season.
Tommy really did pick up his game when Sam went off though; I thought Sam was very quiet in general but he was playing with a knock at the start.
Thought J Tomkins deserved MOM though

| As soon as Sam went off i thought we'd had it to be honest, But i agree completley, tommy started to run the show and seemed to really up his game. And O'Loughlin got involved and did really well aswell imo.

| Think you being very harsh on Fielden he did have abit of a stinker tonight but Ganson didnt help him at all. Plus this year he's been playing extremely well he completely dominated shrek vs hull which is not easy by any means.

| How am I being harsh on Fielden? He's been great this season but tonight he was worse than Feka has been, Feka has at times played better than stu did tonight and he's been dropped. Is that not correct btw?
I like Fielden I really do but I also want consistency regards selection.

| He was not worse than feka by a long shot. He played a good portion of the game something Feka has never managed. He also put in a helluva lot of tackles and didn't stand out a missing any that I noticed.
feka on the other hand gives the opposition a pass when defending almost every time.

Can't agree with that, Stu's overall performance was better than anything Feka has shown this season, imo.
I guess we'll see from the coaches selections next game, if Stu gets picked ahead of Feka, you'd have to conclude it's their view to.

We looked better when Sam went off, because Tommy clicked it up a couple of gears and really started to control things.

| How many games did Feka play before being dropped pretty sure it wasnt one bad game like stu but i could be wrong plus Feka wasnt one of the best props in the three games previous to being dropped.
I agree Stu had a nightmare just think it would be extremely harsh and pretty stupid to drop him after one poor showing.

| I thought Tommy was fantastic throughout and not just when Sam went off. I think that just coincided with Leeds throwing in the towel.

| think tommy was better after sam went off! also think fielden put too much pressure on himself towards the end therefore forcing more errors. think your the ones to beat this season for sure. good luck and well done tonight

| I wouldnt drop Fielden after just 1 bad performance, if that was the case Carmont should have been dropped this week but he had a good game, players cant play perfect every week. If we had the depth in props Fielden would probably miss 1 game over easter but we dont and with Coley possibly out we need him to stand up and make up for that terrible performance, especially next week against Saints.

Yeah lets hope he has a stormer and can keep Graham quiet which is a huge ask but if he does i think it could go along way to a Wigan win possibly.

I'll have what he's having.
For what it's worth, I think Fielden put in a lot of effort tonight, and didn't have as bad a game as his stats will suggest, but that statement is utterly ridiculous.
Whether that means Paleaaesina should be ahead of Fielden, I doubt it, but you've made yourself look very silly.

| Just watched it back and i agree with the OP.
Without Sam the team played with much more structure. Sam is a true talent, but his last tackle plays, this year, havent been the best.
As for Fielden, he was very good, the errors aside, Leeds really targetted him and tbh, he was unlucky with a couple of calls.
