| We may well catch that, are there any good pubs in Bradford to go to pre-game?

Im not convinced although i appreciate the effort that Bradford go to in terms of pre-match entertainment.
Bradford were undoubtedley the team that embraced Superleague and led the way early by giving the spectators something to keep them entertained in the hour or so before kick off - the problem for me is that things havent really changed much and some of the pre-match stuff now seems quite dated.
I was watching a game with a friend who does not watch rugby at all and he was laughing when he heard some of the music being played when players scored a try - some of it really is terrible!
Bradford are not the only culprits by a long way and im pleased that Wigan seem to be improving in this area too and the ongoing consultation with supporters should help improve the match day expierience.

| I'm hoping to see that Bratfut fan that's a bit crazy and spends all the pre-match dancing in the away end.

Sports Centre right opposite the ground, safe enough might be £3 and not bad getting away.

It's five quid now. Plenty of on street parking if you're prepared to walk for 5-10 mins.

Oh and no he's not most away fans think he's funny.
The best pub pre match in my opinion is Cue Gardens by the way. It's quite good for food as well.

| Pre match starts at 12pm at the Wigan Beer Festival, before getting the coach from outside the festival at 5:15pm to Bradford.
Should be a great day!

| There's some decent pubs near the ground or you can cram into the Touchdown bar in the ground itself.
The Top House is usually rammed but a bit further down Manchester Rd is The Red Lion and The Woodman. The Red Lion's decent and only 2 mins from the ground. Not been in the Woodman but apparently it serves real ale so maybe I should.
There's a decent chippy on Odsal roundabout too. Not sure if they do steak puddings or any of that Lancashire stuff but the fish n chips are great.
As far as pubs in Bradford centre are concerned there's not much to choose from unless you have a car and can get to the Fighting Cock or Corn Dolly. There's a Weatherspoons that's ok but many of the other joints aren't worth going in.

Top House opposite ground. Gets packed , but you get served quick.
Go through front door, look to left and by the bar there will be a set of bulls fans, with one very loud one.
Ask for Ian Rhodes, Tony Lambert, and Happy Harry.
tell them the pieman sent you and wish em well from me cos i cant make it .
