Don't know if this has been mentioned, but was this the first time in Wigan's SL history, that we have had a Wigan born half back pairing on the field in a game?

| i'm sure i read in league express he was born in Milton Keynes! and that his parents are from warrington and then he was brought up in chorley then moved to wigan, don't know which parts of these are correct but sounds like a right mixed bag! but techniqually he could be a southerner, Who said it was only a northern sport?   |

All three played for Wakefield at some stage of their careers, but I don't think they ever took the field together in the same team.
Neil and Peter also played for HKR
Don and Peter also played for Featherstone.
Logan Tomkins, I'm not sure if he'll make, although he did have his best game I've seen him have for Wigan v Wire in the reserves friendly on Saturday.

Just been checking and I cant find any record of them playing in the same team. When you look at the records you realise what a fine player Neil Fox was, part of the 1962 Lions team, surely the best GB team ever. |

A mate from Uni went to school with the Tomkins lads. When she finishes with saying how arrogant etc he is (ive just asked her what he was like etc) she says he is indeed from Chorley and as far as she is aware they actually support Wigan as a result of them giving their sons a shot however they may have supported Wire at some stage she says they weren't exactly "friends" haha.
Tbh he may be a great player but he sounds like a right coxk hahaha
