Is the likely lineup,
Two in NZ isn't the greatest as is does bugger up the schedule a bit.
Theres 3 of us going at the mo and Im bugeting for £1500 and can just about manage to do the PNG, AUS and Final for that. But the ARL are organising it and are dragging their feet. The RFL don't help, ive been emailing Redhall for months now and only last week I phoned up only for them to ask me if I know when the tournament is to be held, I kid you not.

Hope you can come up with a decent price between you all. £1500 sounds reasonably cheap. Keep posting your best prices. Would it be cheaper if all the groups travelling went as one party? Would like to go myself this year.

Coop-travel e-mailed me months ago to see how many they can get to go will send a price through when they have enough to go I have put two down on a temp bases.

Its a real shame they can't do the PNG games in PNG! It would do massive things for the sport in that country.

I'm not sure the venues and security is anywhere near good enough. Visits of test sides have often had problems visiting there. Great Britain twice in the early 90s had games halted as the police fired tear gas to control the fans and it drifted over the pitch.

I think there was problems when the Aussie Prime Minsters XIII visited as well.

Thats why I said it's a shame they CAN'T. But just saying that should be the aim, to make the stadium and security suitable for games like this then the game could really start to grown in PNG.

The ultimate goal has to be some PNG teams in the NRL. I don't think they would struggle for players, the whole PNG national team would play for them. They just need the money.

Well it would have to be done for them. Far too poor a country for it to be done internally.

They must have some rich guy somewhere!

They at least need to get some more small teams!
