Lovely, i've just had my flight brought forward day after the game as well so an even earlier start to get back to Perpignan.

I'd love to see Montpelier but I hope the club will put some traveling on for us as I've just been made redundant and won't be happy having to dip my hand in my pocket. Will have to see what the club offers before the moaning can start.

Please note that the Club has not confirmed any switch of the game from Perpignan to Montpellier.

We are still reviewing the feedback from our supporters and will make a decision once our Management Board has fully reviewed all information.

Good to hear. Would have rendered the feedback pointless if that thread on here was anything to go by.

No doubt he will have been checking the feedback on the new shop. He must be delighted, and rightfully so.

Why would you make changes to or book a flight knowing that it was still up in the air?

I think both the Under 20s and Under 18s will be playing in France that weekend as well next year. Would be good if they arranged a double header on the Saturday (Evening?) for that, seeing as we play on the Sunday.

I know the Under 18s are playing that weekend at least, not sure about the Under 20s fixture list yet though.

Getting the town of Montpellier or the Dragons to lay on free transport from Perpignan is the stumbling block im told.

Sod them then. You can't mess about with people's plans like that, its not like a trip to Huddersfield.

I dont understand they the Dragons would want to move away, they have a solid fan base over there now and they sell the Wigan game out every year. Doesnt make sense.

And more. Always people hanging from the walls in the corner which i'm sure isn't legal.

Fairly sure they dont have the same health and saftey policies over there, if they did, we would never be allowed in to watch the game after 600 pints.

No, it's further from Perpignan, more like a trip to Hull.

I've made the point before though. They are a regional side as opposed to one based in Perpignan and have always played games on the road in places like Beziers, Narbonne and last year Barcelona.

But I think the reason may be more Montpellier wanting Catalans than vice versa. We Wigan fans will make the town (or is it a city?) a fortune by swelling the hotels and eating and drinking them dry. It wouldn't work if it was a smaller club who's fans didn't travel. Catalans will be rewarded with investment.

Same reason why the Premier League talk about playing games in foreign countries. It's all to bring in investment.

Isn't it more about proving a point to the Languedoc-Rousillon government?
Catalans show that they can draw a large crowd and the local government extends the stadium and helps them out more.
