Any news on the coaching positions? Ie conditioning coach, not seen anything so are we to assume we are going into the most important phase of our preparation with no conditioning coach or Mike Forshaw?!

I appreciate MM has experience in the field but i would still like us to appoint an expert rather than run with our main technical coach running the preseason physical prep as well for reasons of workload alone.

I'd imagine MM will want the final say on any coaches brought in and would want to perform some face to face interviews when he gets here as well.

At the end of day if some of the rumours of midnight phone calls between MM and SW, letters to players & Vievers looking for a new job are to be believed then I’m sure plenty of work and thought has gone into the new coaching structure already.

Excellent news the sooner the better, no doubt plans have been formulated but like everything until everyones present and correct then these can't be put in place.

Look's like were just waiting on an announcement for the conditioners position but personally I'm not to worried because of McGuire's history in that area still it'll be nice when it's sorted, plus some new signings wouldn't hurt.

And Dave Nosey Parker into todays league weekly said that he'd heard McGuire was having problems in getting over here, just shows how much he knows.

Any word on who's going to be the reserves and u18's coaches?

The posts to be filled are likely to be announced by MM once he is here and spent some time at the club I'd have thought.
Just get the feeling this bloke will be very well prepared for everything and leave nothing to chance.
It's a long time to the start of the season but no time to pre season.
I reckon he'll have both dates highlighted with objectives to be met for both. Those objectives I'm sure will be met!

I was lucky enough to have a quick chat with Shaun Wane on Saturday prior to the England v Aus game. He seemed very fired up by the prospect of next season and genuinely looking forward to working with MM - and why not? This looks like a great move for all concerned.

I can't wait for next season. Wigan have absolutely nothing to fear from anyone in SL. If we can - and I'm sure we will - improve fitness levels we can take any SL side on and beat them. In Sam Tomkins we have the most exciting player to emerge in British RL for at least a decade.

I am concerned about the conditioning area, Mike Forshaw should of gona ages ago but I just hope that if he stays, MM has the last say on everything, probelm is that there will be times when he is not there in the jym and I want someone to motivate the players to go that extra mile when training, I think results show that Forshaw has not done alot of this.

Dawn has a REALLY BAD phobia of clowns. Id say keep it but i know she will batter me

MM is an expert in this field. So Forshaw will easily be found out if he is not up to the job.
