Is he ever happy ? He's sounding like a stuck record. Put him out of his ( and our ) misery and fast.

That is all Wigan ever did in the 80's and 90's and as a result we made many a final and it was, apparently, bad for the game the best team made the final so regularly.

I certainly don't have a problem with the two best teams getting there regularly but if Wilkin is whining the rules have been changed to deliberately stop this happening he should read his own clubs message boards and read the championing of the salary cap because of course that is what it is designed to do.

Jon Wilkin has got rugby league and the playoffs onto the BBC Radio 5 sports news. It's been on every bulletin for the past couple of hours.
Well done Agent Wilkin and just in time for the first weekend of the Super League XIV playoffs.

He'd have been better off saying Rugby Leagues great, the play offs are great and we don't cheat by feigning blood injuries so get your backsides along to the grounds or get you tv on for the games.

I dont disagree with him here, however the RFL have made this sport all about rewarding medicority! They have pulled everyone down to the lowest level as opposed to make everyone strive to reach the heights of the top two teams.

I would laugh my spuds off if it was a huddersfield catalans final (if thats possible), with a half empty old trafford!

If our own players are condeming the comp in the media, (first Graham and now Wilkin) what hope do we have of being taken serious as a sport.

Lets face it sometimes you need to go backwards to go forwards, and should such a thing happen, the RFL may start to encourage progress instead of mediocrity.

Graham didn't criticise the competition. Graham couldn't understand why a whole round of game were moved to Edinburgh. As far as I know he hasn't been outspoken with regard to Super League.

Sorry, I thought Graham was having a winge about it but its a while ago now so may be wrong, it wont be the first time.

However I still think we should be promoting excellence and not rewarding dross.

If the eighth placed team won the grand final how can that be called dross?
It would take a massive effort to win it from eighth.

Nobody cares what you think about the game because nobody respects you as a player..You are a prime example of mediocrity thats running around this league.
