The highest ranked side hosts the game at home. But because RFL rules state that it has to be the home of the first team (i.e the DW Stadium in our case) we can't host Grand Finals at Orrell so will have to play away - like the Reserve final last season.

Any idea Bilko as to why they dont play every team home and away?

Not sure but playing home and away would be 25 games - so for the Under 18s that's 7 more games. Maybe a bit much for them to play 25 then up to 4 play off games as well. Or it could be to avoid stress on pitches during February & March.

Catalans come in to both lower grade leagues next season so there will be an extra team in it. They are revamping the whole thing (again).

What's happened to Declan McLoughlin, he was impressive during the early part of the season but doesn't appear to have played much lately, and neither does Karl Olstrom.

Can only assume they are injured. Matt Sarsfield went off very early last Saturday on his return for a 3 match ban for "repeated punching" ironically against Leeds Away in July.
