........your comment regarding `slowing down`might have been true of us in years gone by but I think the mantle has been passed to Wigan/Leeds.......how on earth you both get away with your laying on tactics and messing around at the PTB is beyond me

. Sick of getting pinged by the ref, Quins addressed this sometime ago (reflected in fair play league position), but looks like Wigan never got around to it.

We don't get away with it, only on a couple of occasions have we come out on the right side of the penalty count this season IIRC.

Seeing as my prediction was so close (ish) for the Wigan v Hull KR game last week I feel its only right to call this weeks outing against Harlequins/London/ or whatever they are calling themselves these days.


As much as I would like Wigan to win this one I can see Harlequins racing off to 10 nil lead within the first 20- 25 mins. Wigan should bring it back to 10- 6 with a Pat Richards converted try just before half time.


My prediction for the half time score will be

Wigan 6 Harlequins 10


Missed chances aplenty and heaps of dropped ball in the second half but Harlequins will score twice more (converting just one) within 20 mins.

The remaining 20 will see a frantic Wigan effort, but the wet conditions will make the ball tricky to handle. However 2 more tries (and 1 conversion by Pat Richards) with between 15-20 mins to go will set up an interesting last quarter.

With about 10 to go Harlequins will kick a field goal.

Sadly Wigan wont come back.

Note to all: Barry made a complete fool of himself on the Quins forum and then to try and save face when he realised how embarrassing his posts were he tried to claim he was banned. When I offered him assistance as it was obviously an error in the system as there was nothing on the bans list, he told me to stop contacting him



He also started bleating and crying at how he was apparently recieving abusive PM's from Quins supporters - again I offered help saying I would warn/ban any offenders, but he decided that he couldn't provide any names.
