Journeys take approximately 11 minutes and if you've never been on the train before it is the next stop down the track.

Just a reminder that they are very strict at checking tickets at Bank Quay Station now. So "bunkin" the train now is not easy!

If you want to go drinking then yeah, but looking at the way he types his posts, he probably isn't old enough to drink alcohol. Easiest way is just to follow that road, straight under the bridge and the HJ is on the left.

I went to Preston the other week and those cheeky scamps on the Virgin trains sent a ticket inspector each from both ends of the trains.





Won't be a problem. We didn't pay on way to Huddersfield despite the ticket mans presence. We overawed him.

And we didnt pay between Hudderfield and Leeds due to a 30 man bouncy on the train

They only usually check in the rush hour, but with a large contingent of Wiganers invading Bank Quay they might be wise to check.

On Friday anyone with traces of pie crust round their mouth will be checked!!!

However coming home, wil there enough time to get back to the station in time for the 22:23 train? Quickest way to get back to Wigan for another pint or 4.

Safety i suppose having the 22:37 and the last train are 23:13 just incase though.
