| But still the head coach of a team languishing in the bottom third of the table with more games played than the whole competition.!

| Sliverwood didn't hear the hooter?
Seriously, he isn't using that an excuse, is he?
If so, the man is literally deaf.

Absolutely spot on.'"
No it isn't.
He forgot to add:
"And I should take a huge amount of the blame here. I picked the wrong team, sent them out without completing any training on what to close to the opponents line, but don't worry about me, I'll still be getting my cabbage".
Noble is Cullen, on steroids.

What else did you expect him to go with.
"I was desperate to get Hull KR a try"
"Sky & the RFL want KR top of SL, think of all the stories we can do about that"
"My boss is the biggest Wigan hating ref there ever was, this should assure me one of the finals this year"
"Eddie promised me sexual pleasure if I gave him chance to have a pants explosion on Boots n All"
"I cheated"

| More importantly the players didn't hear the hooter, had they defended their line then there would have been no issue to raise.
If I remember correctly we were awareded a try in similar circumstances against London Broncos a few years back - we took it then - we have to take it now.

| i also was in the south and did not here the hooter at Ht.
at the end of the day we had enough chances to get something from the game, we just didn't have the execution to take the chances.

surely if they HADN'T heard the hooter theyWOULD have defended the line. i thought they heard it and that's why they were off for half time oranges.

| I was in front of the try, about 8rows back, heard the hooter, as did all the players. Not a good decision.

| I was there and didn't hear the hooter. The laws of the game state that the referee is the sole judge of time. Just a thought but maybe it's a problem with the hooter and as it was at the JJB it is a Wigan problem after all it seemed to have a problem going off at all at the end of the second half.

| getting back to topic. I agree with Nobles summary but he and the team need to recognise the mistakes made and correct them. We had no dominant ball player when it was needed although there were 3 or 4 players on the pitch who could have stepped up.
I did appreciate the effort the lads put in and it was nice to see some real venom in defence. The hits by McIllorum, O'loughlin, Fielden and Tommy were good to see along with the others.
We now have some good attacking players but play too flat in the opposing 22 and don't give ourselves a chance.
