Personally id swap him for a good few NRL backrow players, but in this league he is top class, needs to get consistency, he is not the final product yet but when he is "on" he is top class.

Sam is going to be targeted because of his talent but slighter frame by nobs like leo latu, bailey, westwood etc, etc as he improves it might get worse, and he needs a couple of lads who are gonna back him up, Hock did that today, and i was well chuffed to see it. Our pack esp O'Loughlin, Hock and Joel, i think will look after him.

I love the protection they all give Sam when he gets into trouble, it shows they all care about each other and play for each other on the field, also means they more than likely have good friendships which can only be good for the team.

it's good to see though, Hock showed today that if people think they can just start trying to bully Sam then they are going to back him up to the hilt, proper team work the wigan lads looking out for each other

i can relate being a fullback, and i got some frightful abuse against opposition forwards at times and my forwards we're always there to look after me.

i think it's a role Hock could take on more, we've had Faz, Saints had Scully and Leeds have Peacock, all players that protect younger players, the responsibility might get Hock to focus on cutting out the silly errors and concentrate on the good things about his game

What about the no try decision for obstruction, where Coley was the dummy runner, went through the line, no one laid a hand on him but no try
