Today he was in front of me and my wife in tesco (St Helens) trying to use the scan it yourself lane...he hadn't a clue..had to ask the wife what to do..after looking puzzled at the screen (looked like he was waiting for the TRY/ NO TRY verdict all he got was try again

) he looked really embarresd ..no doubt my comments did nothing to help

...then again I did make out I was a saints fan

you should have hit him on the back of the head with a tin of baked beans.

I bet he waited for the CCTV cameras to focus on him and then did something daft liked swiped his winky in the credit card slot.

It makes a change that...... he was at least trying to pay for the items this time!!!
