Given the divide of opinion regarding Brian Noble continued role as Wigan coach i wondered how people feel about Noble in comparison with previous coaches who have been shown the door or left for another reason in recent times.
Who would you prefer out of the options of -
Brian Noble
Ian Millward
Stuart Raper
Frank Endacott
Think particularly of how confident you felt with your choice of coach in charge. (Ive not included Mike Gregory or Dennis Betts purposely).

I liked Endicott a lot, but I like Raper more. A good coach, that seemed likeable by the players.

Raper was good in my eyes, think he was harshly dealt with at the time. Raper & Kear was a quality partnership!
Big Frank was also good for a time, but we did have a better calibre of player back then. Think he was too pally with the players
The only coaches in the Super League now I'd want are Mick Potter, Brian McClennan or Justin Morgan.

Its ok, i understand where your coming from.
I just wanted to show the slide in expectations under these four particular coaches and not suprisingley Suart Raper seems to be a popular choice...so far. |
