Thought he played really well today. Still not sure about him being an "on pitch" captain - think we need leadership on field from someone else. But he tackled everything and threw a few brilliant passes that lead to tries.

What people are missing is a house prop leader to complement him.

O'loughlin has really stepped up this season more in attack. He is creating a lot more to back up his hard work in defence.

Against Saints I would move him to the second row to try and match the creativity of Hock and add more balance to the side.

A lot of people seem to have this strange perception that a good captain is one that shouts and screams at his players.

With Andy Farrell being the one people apply this to the most. This is actually not the case with the most captain-esque moments Farrell did were what he did on the field. Playing against Leeds with a broken nose - moving to prop forward when we were struggling with injuries - sticking up for the younger players in the brawl at knowsley road.

Those moments are what makes a true captain and not the shouting and screaming. Players appreciate them moments more.

Its clear you have issues with Mr O'loughlin outwith his onfield/onfield performances, all you do is sit and wait for an opportunity to slag him off.
