Just heard from my dad who is down south and he has heard that Edwards has signed as coach of Wigan and he will start with the saints match on Maunday Thursday.
I have no idea how much truth is in this so dont quote me on it, its just what has been heard.

No offence to your dad, but I suspect there's no truth in it whatsoever. Ther'd be so many hoops for both Wigan and Edwards to jump through before Maundy Thursday - and given the tittle-tattle machine (as has been exemplified by events of the last couple of days) I'm sure we'd know every in and out of it by now. |

Just heard from someone 'in the know' that IL has splashed out on a 22,000 capacity stadium, building work started this morning and the club hopes to have it completed for next Wednesday evening, just in time for next Thursdays game. The Wigan fans will be located in the 'Boston End', the 'Edwards End', and the 'Farrell End', whilst the Saints fans will be sat in the 'Bell End'.

The guy is a coach for the Lions squad that is going to South Africa this summer. It's something that Edwards has always said he wants to do in RU so there is no way a guy like Edwards would walk away from an opportunity/challenge/commitment like that!
But Shearer is the new Newcastle boss so stranger things have happened regarding clubs and their favourite sons eh?
