Better defence or better attack?

I would like to see our defence to massively improve this week.

A win. A confident emphatic win would be better.

Better defence and some free flowing rugby would be nice.

But beggars can't be choosers so a win, any win no matter how it comes is all that matters at the moment imo.

Marker defence, I hate seeing us beaten so easily around the ruck. Obviously a win is the main thing though.

seeing as its my last match before i move to australia, im hoping for some entertaining rugby and a convincing win!!!

Without being funny defence wins matches!

Keeping hold of the ball would be a good start and then not giving away silly penalty's on the 4th tackle would be a good start.
Also Richards back for the kicking the others could not hit a barn boor at 3 yards.

Obviously a win, but more importantly i want to see us complete the full 80 minutes.

Against Wakey will played well in 10-15 minute spells, against Hull we played well in the first half, against Cas we only started playing in the final 20 minutes and it wasnt enough.

I want to see us come out and look like the more entusiastic of the 2 teams for a change this season.

We looked lethargic early doors against Cas which wasn't bad in comparison to the Wakey game when we looked like we didn't want to be there at all.

As for defence and attack i'd like to see the defence improve because if it does we have natural points scorers like Richards, Roberts, Carmont, Pryce, Ainscough, Leuluai and the Tomkins brothers(hopefully) in the side that will always bag you some trys when on the front foot.

Never mind, though. Let's keep slagging off Mathers. Can someone remind me how well he played against Cas?

Mathers gets slated because of how he played at the beginning of last season. But he did play much better towards the end of last season and so far this year played in the or should i say was in the team for the first game. The only person who can match him at fullback in the team is pat and he is much better on the wing for us and before anyone says anything he is a very good fullback but he is a world class winger.
