Carvell received 1 match for an offence carrying a 2-3 match recommendation. IMO that's a result for Carvell and they should slap him down for having the gall to appeal an already lenient sentence. However, I wouldn't bet against him playing on Saturday...

You know its allowed. You watch O'loughlin doing it week in week out. Mind you Briers and Myler are probably a bit on the short side for him to single out as his tackling technique is a bit more elevated than that. How he consistently stays on the field is an enigma that many of us outside of pie land have so far failed to unravel!!

That one's easy:

I don't think i've ever seen him wallop anyone in the way Morley did on Saturday night. I'd love to see Lockers career disciplinary record. I'd imagine it's clean as a whistle.

If Pat Richards breaks the line on Saturday night and Mathers takes him out like he did with Matt King a couple of years back I presume you'll still want a 10 game ban?

Personally I think this will be a good oppertunity for Fielden to get the monkey off his back that he has seemed to have with Morley over the last couple of seasons. Fielden's fitness and overall confidence seems to have returned this season, hopefully he will have a cracker.

I would hope that a certian Mr Wane may be wispering this in Stu's shell like.

I really rate Morley as a player and a bloke, i cant think of a current SL player that has the same no nonsense aura that he has.

however back in the day Stu Fielden had a similar sort of thing, i agree that i would love to see those battling during the game and exchange a few blows.

How you can be banned one day and not the next is a farce.

Carvell did the crime, he should do the time.

However we all know the RFL are useless.

You can`t blame us for the RFL`s system of favouring big clubs.

What's the point of the disciplinery procedure? they ban someone for one game and then the player appeals and they let them off, everyone appeals these days and gets off so what's ther point in banning them in the first place?

Ah well it's not unexpected. I said before i can't comment on the Carvell incident as i've not seen it but by all accounts they've both been pretty lucky. It's always going to help when your coach was the main man within the RFL for the past 3 years and has worked with the decision makers on a regular basis during that time.

Anyroad it's time to move on from all that and concentrate on what should be a great game. We need this test to see where we're at and how we can go against big packs especially away from home.

The fact that Morley wasn't banned along with Carvell was a joke... The fact that Carvell's ban has been revoked the day after it's been handed out is even worse!!!

Well said. The trouble is, in a situation like this we're all bias one way or the other. As a Warrington supporter I'm happy with the judgement - but I'm never going to be neutral enough to say whether it was correct. So, lets all move on and may the best team win.
