Jason Manford is a poor mans Peter Kay IMO, i know not many on here will agree but I love Alan Carr

Few years ago Mad Friday and Boxing night in Wigan was brilliant but its just full of dícks now and everythings so expensive, clubs are 20-30 quid to get in and taxis treble their fares, its all gonna die on its arsé soon.

Not a proper Mad Friday at all this year.

Almost a full week before Christmas and folk have to go to work on Mon, Tues, Wed and possibly Xmas Eve the week after.

I'll be out but just in the Brocket I think.

No Chance - only three nights I would never go out round Wiggin are Mad Friday, Boxin Nite and New Year. Full of one pint wonders n little chavs lookin to battle (even more than usual). Anyone without an ASBO would need sectionin fot go out King St on them nites

For me the best comedian is Kevin Bloody Wilson, seen him in Southport a couple years ago after hearing a few of his songs off a mate and I've never laughed so much in my life. His daughter is also very funny. You can't say the c word in Canada is a classic, as is any song about his aboriginal friend Nigel. And also Dilligaf.

Ross Noble is one of the funniest comedians around, he's always going off on a tangent and forgetting what he's meant to say.



I also like Stuart Francis & Bill Maher quite a lot too

IMO Jason Manford is far funnier than Peter Kay. I seen him in Birmingham last month and he was on for close to 3 hours and it was really good.

Seen Lee Evans before and Ricky Gervais and going to see Lee Mack in Nottingham in May

I'll be out, mainly because it's a friends birthday.

It's not really that 'mad' when most people are in work on Monday.

I've been out now and again over the past few years but I agree with whats been said. It's full of idiots and the places are ripping people off. If I go out in Wigan it's normally on a Friday and it's very very cheap(walkabout 90p a drink) but with the christmas season coming up and basically so they can fleece everyone tonight all the bars like the Walkabout, Chicago Rock, Jumpin Jaks etc knocked there offers off a few weeks back and will charge the Saturday night prices.

I'm going out for something to eat with my Girlfriend instead................just goes to show how poor Mad Friday must actually be. ha ha.

Only done it once and that was in Leigh. Got my self into a whole world of trouble, so not done it since!!

Stewart Lee is the best comedian around imo, the joke Joe Pasquale can't tell is genius.
