Far too mant people at our place are getting giddy about the semi in my opinion. Wigan have really impressed me since Hock incident and doubt over Noble's future with some impressive wins. We are looking shakey with injuries now and I expect many people to come crashing down to earth on the 8th August.

Why would it be sour grapes? It just proves that we have less glory hunters than you do. You haven't been to a semi final since 2004, we've been to many. Yes I'm slightly disappointed that we won't have as many fans there as I would like us to but that won't reflect on the result will it? If we're in the final by the end of the game then you can have 5 times as many fans there as us but it won't matter.

Many Warrington fans are thinking all they have to do is turn up against us with our current injury crisis, I think many are sniffing the glory already and do every year which is why they get laughed at from other clubs, not just Wigan. We've heard it so many times that it's going to be Warrington this, Warrington that. In reflection your a nice little club but your no Wigan or St Helens for that matter.

Actually your wrong, i think this match could go either way tbh, and i wouldnt even put us as favourites, but we have the right to be confident, we are playing well and you have injuries. Its called supporting your team at the end of the day, and i will support us whether we're favourites or underdogs

The bloke should concentrate on his day job and fill the HJ first.

Of course it can go either way. Two mid-table teams, both with injury problems and inconsistent form. I think the difference is Wigan fans have seen no green shoots of recovery, and have almost no confidence in the team and the coach, whereas Wire fans have seen Tony Smith come in and rejuvenate their squad and start putting some good form together. The position of favourite or underdog is mainly perception anyway, and matters not once the game starts.

I thought that the attendance of 12,075 for wire saints was poor, in my opinion those games are always classics and deserve a larger audience, they should at least be achieving another 2000 on top of that for that particular game. Especially when the same weekend we pulled in 11,543 only 500 less against a team with no away support.

my thoughts exactly mate, the fact that some fans are writing the opposition off before kick off is something which us wigan fans done in 07 when we faced catalans, and it rubbed off on the players! cup rugby can go either way.

If we charged a tenner we would fill it most weeks, but think they are more interested in the money of full ticket prices.
