Split halves. We have Deacon on the right and finch on the left. TomPkins becomes the stand off for either scrum half.
Over simplified but not far off the mark.

Not saying he was. Just the fact that Moss and Roberts are actually still in charge of the Crusaders. They pretty much released a statement before they where bought out of Wrexham saying that they aren't investing another penny in to the club. Crusaders have been a bit of a farce since they came into the league to be honest, the fact that they had about 7 players deported due to visa issues totally rebranded the club and moved however many miles just totally defeated the concept of the club for me.
Hopefully wakefield take their advice on board and in 3 years they can go look what he have done, setting an example to the other clubs.
My prediction for Crusaders, they won't be a club within 2 years

| that Wakefield have had 3 years to sort themselves out and keep the promises they made in the first license applications. Fax can more than match them on their history and tradition. Fax have a ground that as met super league standard Wakey haven't got any further in 3 years in building their much promised new ground. Finances Fax have not gone into administration in recent history Wakefield have broken the rules of the licensing agreement by going into administration.

I just don't get the either/or thing. Both clubs were run shambolically but thankfully under new owner, Andrew Glover, Wakefield look much more solid.
I feel for the Crusaders players and fans. They've been royally stiffed by their own board. The players found out on Sky like the rest of us apparently and are now in a meeting with Rod Findlay.
And from what I'm hearing Crusaders, along with Wrexham FC might not be around next year never mind in two.

| What now for Halifax, surely they will never get a SL license now.
Glover will get Wakefield a half decent stadium - probably in partnership with Cas, then almost everyone is sorted.
KR are slowly doing Craven park. Bradford will never be kicked out.
Closed shop forever?

Possibly, but its unlikely without some major sponsorship or a much better TV deal. Are either likely?

They'll revert to promotion and relegation again. Halifax must be fuming, there's just no conceivable way Wakefield had a better proposal than Fax.

| Nigel Wood on SSN now, Crusaders pulled out in last 24 hours, so they decided Halifax werent going to make it. So the man who was in charge of Halifax when they went bust doesnt let them back in.
I wonder how welcome Wood will ever be in Halifax again?

Very strange imo

| Feel more sorry for Halifax to be honest, as said they met the criteria before so it's strange they don't now, and they must've had a much better application than Wakefield just for the ground situation.
All in all though, it's right Crusaders have gone. For me it should've been between them, Wakey and Quins. The alleged surge in youngsters playing RL in London really helped Quins and I hope that pays off throughout 2012-14. Crusaders just weren't getting the crowds and so it's right they're going down. That's if they even exist in 2012.

| I think they should bring back P and R with some of the rules from licensing , this licensing is garbage the RFL should go through with the original decision and knock the team down who they was gona relegate originally . Crusader s just made there job easy for them .

| this whole thing has made the rfl look stupid, and made our game yet again another laughing stock,
we have some right idiots in charge of this game, none of them understand the game or care about it,
wish there was someway we could force a change.

| bring back promotion and relegation, have a 2 year licence and the 2 worst performing clubs over that period are relegated and the 2 most financially stable come up, simple's, also get rid of play offs, top place nice trophy, top 2 play for the cup, bring in 3 origin style games (GB v Exiles) during July between the weeks that the Aussie State of Origin is on thus stretching the weekly rounds to the end of September with playing less games and maybe even strengthening our national side

| None of it makes much sense to me. Can someone please explain why Widnes got advised when they did? I don't understand.
Fax have as good an application as Widnes and Wakey surley? If not better looking at Wakey's financial situation.
I can understand the Crusaders decision as they are abviously struggling to keep up financially with other SL clubs but for crying out loud, you'd think they'd tell the players, coaches, staff etc before going public.
