Warrington are a bit stuffed anyway by their two rivals Castleford and Harlequins playing each other next. The points diff between Quins and Wire is equal at +42 so if Cas win they'll still be out the 8 and if Quins win they'll be out the 8 unless they can beat Hull KR by more points. Not likely I don't think.

Having said that they play Harlequins last up.

They are hardly going to beat Hull KR away though.

It will be a huge blow losing tickle and tansey. Does anybody think we could yet make in to 4th place if we was too beat hulfc by 40 points and the giants where to loose by 20 and we know who we play in our last game and should we beat them by around 30 we would be 4th.

Obviously its possible but we would have to beat Hull like we did last year and count on Hudds losing.

They did beat us but they've lost arguably thier six best and most experienced players. No side can recover from that.

Done it once this season, getting into the playoffs is a long shot but last weekends results went our way, if we win our two games and quins beat Cas an Catalan lose one game we could still finish 7th on points diff which is better then Cas and Catalan at the moment.

well technically no it hasn't as it was a draw in 80 minutes and was settled with "golden point" extra time, and as we all know that wouldn't count in a leage game

If we beat Hull and Cas beat Wakey (meaning we are guarenteed 5th and the last game v Hudds would be a dead rubber) would anyone play some of the reserves? Or would you prefer to try and keep the team together and winning games ahead of the play offs? Personally I wouldn't go for wholesale changes but I'd be tempted to give one or two reserves a go.

Their last two games are Quins away and Celtic at home.
Wakey have Catalan away and HKR at home.

Also the reserves Grand Final qualifier v Saints could be on that weekend.

Hull have been gash this year, however Tansey has been excellent since he signed for us.

We need to rattle in as many points as possible in the small hope we can steal 4th place. Sadly the demise of the Celtic 6 will probably stop it happening.
