Tonight we are seeing why Saints are 16 points or whatever in front of the rest. We haven't been great, but they have forced us into errors over and over. Walmsley and Thompson have been immense, where as our props have been dominated completely, in fact their entire forward pack have bee immense. I'd call it a Saints master class in the first half.

I'm hoping they drop off in the second and we get a bit of a roll on and some confidence.

One glaring mistake by Lam was starting with Lockers, Smithies should have started the game.

Hes done in these kind of games. Hes on the wrong side of the tackle blowing his ass off after 5 minutes and struggling to get in position. Hes still useful as a squad player though.

Hes not the only one though. Flower looked just as done as O'loughlin as did Clubb.

I find it amusing the way some people think some players a top class on week then we should get rid of them the next.

At the end of the day this St Helens team finished 16 points above us, have the confidence of having already beaten us 3 times this year and were at home.

We all agree that their pack is better than ours particularly in the prop department. Thompson and Walmsley both had outstanding games last night and the rest of the team played off the back of it. IMO those two are the difference between St Helens and the rest of the league at the moment.

I’m obviously disappointed but it was hardly unexpected.
