Hope so mate. I'm a league fan first and I'd rather he went to Wire/Leeds/Saints then waste his time stuck on the wing in Union trying to keep his hands warm.

I'd be looking to take Tomkins to the cleaners if I were NZ Warriors when he's spoke about homesickness and missing his family in Wigan if he turned up in France! Not too far from Wigan I suppose but he can't just walk round and see the family and with how busy he'd be training/playing he probably wouldn't see them a great deal in the season.

Who's decided there's no chance of us winning anything. The leagues pretty average and I include Saints in that.

Tomkins would obviously improve our chances but I think you're getting a little ahead of yourself there on the back of winning a GF against 12 men.

Leeds are favourites for everything in my book and then after that there's 3 or 4 clubs (including Wigan and Saints) with about an even chance of winning anything if they have all their players on board.

We'll see, Wigan are miles away in my opinion.

We'll get a better idea of where saints are at in the next couple of weeks as Walsh, burns and Wilkin all return and we play some games with halves on the pitch and hopefully not playing games two subs down as we have a couple of times.

It's incredible how we've dominated you for years yet now we're meant to be so far behind you yet we've just beaten you (although I suppose that was down to those injuries you don't like to mention).

Like I say don't get too far ahead of yourselves. Last years GF win was a great one and a deserved one. The injuries (that Saints don't mention) cancelled out the unbelievable amount of luck you got through the play offs and of course in the GF.

This from a different source but he seems pretty sure that will be the outcome.

There is also a rumour on the wire forum that Tomkins is on his way to them.
Hopefully all these "rumours" are ust a smokescreen to enable him to maximise his deal with us
