It was put on report but no penalty.

There was one in the Wire v Leeds game, I think it was by Westwood, and that was given as a penalty.

Lima was one of 3 people making the tackle - wasn't obvious who was actually pinged for the penalty.

Not from where I was stood. I saw it right away and commented on it.

The referee lifted his arm up and back to illustrate what the offence was.

But did he actually point at Lima? I saw him indicate the penalty, but three of them were moving away at the time.

I saw Lima do it and so did the referee. That's why he did the mimicking action that referees do to show why they are awarding a penalty.

Fair enough. Knew why he gave the penalty, just not which player it was against.

No it wasn't.

The tackle happened, Soliola did nothing other than get up and play the ball. He didn't whinge to either the referee or the player.

He definitely needs to change his tackling technique otherwise he will be spending the majority of the season on the sidelines. First game back from suspension and he does that!

He is certanly not the first and i doubt he will be the last player that Wigan have signed from down under and who has caused some controversey with his style of play.

Im pretty sure i remember Ian Millward commenting on Craig Smith when he played for Wigan due to his running style and i think it was a Saints player who was injured because of it.

Just hope Lima and Wigan can sort it out soon.

John Wilkin will probably be indirectly on the Disciplinary Panel, Lima needs to sort himself out before he finishes someones career.

I didn't notice him doing it but saw the ref signal a Chicken Wing tackle straight away and another ban would seem probable.

I still hold the same view now as I did at the time and thats if Lima has been stupid enough to do it again he deserves another ban(and probably longer then the last one) and he'd have to work very hard to get back in the side once he's available . If he has done it again the guy must be a moron and somebody needs to have a word in his ear.

It looked pretty blatant from where we were, and that's the exact sentiments we uttered when he did it.

If found guilty, he'll be missing the next 2 or 3 I think.
