Will he lose a little pace due to injury or age/intensity catching up with him, if so would he make an excellent prop..?? Will his hands last 3 more yrs due to the ongoing problems he has with them.

The club has a difficult decision to make, either way they will most likely be slated by some supporters, from a personal view I think H will still be as good in 2-3 yrs time and if so he should be playing for wigan..

The lose - lose situation is a personal one in all honesty. I've watched H come through the ranks from him being 16 years of age and saw him score two tries in the U17 academy final in 2002. In that time I got to know his mum & dad and have met up with them on many occasions home and away for a pre match beer.

IF he goes then I really hope he gets a fantastic deal and just meet up with Shane at the Salford games.

Apparently the 1st team players pay a percentage back to the chairman ( been told 20%) for his investment in to the club/business as TBH although he may act like a fan, at the end of the day he is a business man who knows how to maximise his capital & investment.

If you are on 100G then 80G is still alot, but if you are only maybe on 30G and that drops to 24G you can understand why players are leaving for money.

How anybody could possibly even consider for a mano-second there may be a grain of truth in this is beyond me. I've read some seriously stupid stuff on here over the years (who just said "you wrote most of it"?) but this takes the biscuit.

I'd rather some of these lads weren't leaving but it's a business at the end of the day and if it means we keep the younger lads who are coming through, then that's the way it has to be unfortunately.

IL/Wane etc will and should be judged on results. If in 10 months time we've not won the CC, we're 5th in the league and out of the playoffs we can say it was a mistake letting Hansen, Mossop, Richards and Tomkins go.

Out of the lads I mentioned above, a lot of them are still playing. If we'd have kept hold of them we wouldn't be seeing the likes of Hampshire, Powell, Farrell, Crosby, Burke, Burgess, Manfredi, Thornley, Williams, Tierney, Lloyd, Hughes, Greenwood etc coming through and we'd be where we were a few years ago when we were having to buy a team every year.

It's certainly the first I've heard of it. If there was any truth in it it would have come out long before now particularly when a few on here were using anything they could to beat IL with last season.
