Forsyth needs to go out on loan. He's been terrible so far.

Forsyth has been anything but terrible? He's worked really hard and grown into the side since coming in from the wing. By no means the finished article but progressing well. Against Hull I gave him MOM, he was outstanding!

Isa has shown the last 2 games that only if there is absolutely no other option should he go anywhere near the centre. The Leeds match was your perfect example! Tried hard but never ever should he play centre if there is another option!!

I'd have Forsyth centre over Isa any day if the week. Neither have been particularly good there but Isa is needed in the middle and he just doesn't have the skill set for centre.

John Winder apparently said in the South Stand bar after the Cas game that Gelling, Lockers, Burgess and McIlorum are a chance for Good Friday. I think I'd hold McIlorum back till at least Easter Monday but if the others are fit I'd go-

I'd agree with that NK. If we must use a back rower to cover centre then Tomkins is a better option than Isa for me. McIllorum will be frothing at the mouth to get back but I'd also wait until Monday unless Powell isn't 100%. We may not have a choice!!

Clubb definitely out? What's the issue with him/how long?

One thing that Gildart's injury has done is expose a real weakness within our squad in the centre position. It's been a real shame to have to go without a lot of star names this year like Tomkins, Bateman, Burgess etc but for all other positions there has been some quality cover that we can rely on. Not so at centre.

I would still play one of the second rowers there currently - Isa or Joel (if his knees can handle it) Forsyth isn't ready in my view and I don't feel good about moving Burgess from his best position. I would pick Davies ahead of Marshall on the right wing and Bretherton in place of Tony Clubb.

The loss of Bateman has played a huge factor in exposing the weakness in depth at centre IMO. If he were fit he'd be playing there and he's that good a player, he can do that to a level some full time centres would love to reach.

One thing I would say in Forsyth defence is that it's a real tough spot to cut your first team teeth in, especially when your playing in a vastly weakened side. If he gets the nod this week he's likely to have Joe Burgess outside him and Liam Farrell on his inside and that automatically makes his life a bit easier.

He's been a mixed bag but there's definitely some talent there.
