I have my moments

Fell asleep after twenty minutes - first game in Super League i've attempted to watch in over 2 years and I lasted 20 minutes - according to my old man Saints were awful and the kids playing at half time had more of an idea of how to play rugby league than the Saints players.

A colleague of mine texted me at half time. His daughter was playing in that kids game (they won), he pretty much said the same.

According to Jon Stankevitch (sp) Ex Saints player who wa commentating on Wish FM, Pryce was m.o.m. and completely dominated Shenton.

But that wouldn't go down too well with the one eyed on here.

He's kack, sell him now to Quins, burn his contract, GET RID!!!



All seriousness though, I have doubted Pryce in the past, however I do hope he can learn and improve from his time at Quins.

I'm so chuffed for the lad.

He could well be the answer to are centre problems. He's also apparently shed some weight and looks for quicker and nimbler on his feet. Can't say I noticed that last week, but heyhoe let's hope he's turned a corner in his career.

Regardless of if the idiots on here continue to keep their heads in the sand or not he will get recalled by Madge if A-he's playing well and B-We need him.

Early days but lets hope the confidence Quins seem to be playing with rubs off on the big man. Like I said early days but promising signs as that’s two tries in two games and what also sounds like a MOM performance on top.

A few people on here (me included) suggested that his best position might be at centre. If he can back up this good performance with another strong display then perhaps that's where he would have been best used all along.
The important thing is for him to keep it up. If he does then he may well have a future at Wigan when many have written him off.

There may well be(lets face it will) a centre spot up for grabs here at Wigan and Pryce could be in the best spot to get a crack at it if he's playing regular games in the position at superleague level and playing well.

Pryce, Marsh, Charnley or Joel Tomkins it's over to you guys to prove who deserves first crack.

Personally, for reasons unknown, I would go with Joel. No idea why, but I would.

It wasn't Shenton he was dominating. It was our invisible halfback. Shenton was trying to cover two positions at once and was actually one of our better players.

All credit to Quins though: they defended very well, they played with enthusiasm, their kicking game was excellent and they did stuff like run lines, use dummy runners, etc. Stuff we seem to have forgotten about just now! In short we were totally outplayed and Quins fully deserved their win.

Good win for Leeds tonight with no props. 46-12

cross, Bailey, kylie, burgess, peacock, out! then Delaney, McGuire, smith out and bjb dislocated his shoulder after 15 mins so all in all a good win.

Defence was better but then again it was Salford. A win is a win and Leeds needed one.

Always too close to call Leeds v saints! A close game or a blow out for either team is just as probable
