The best thing the club ever did during the Uncle Mo & Whelan era was to actually let kids in free in the North Stand for a game against the London Broncos - now Harlequins. I took a few of my mates to that game and Wigan slaughtered them 66-6 IIRC and now a few of them are season ticket holders.

So initiatives like this do work. The fact they have actually been purchased though is simply even better.

When I said I think its:
- a negative idea
- a shat idea
- a useless idea
- the marketing team have given up
- the marketing team need to pull their finger out
- we shouldn't be giving freebies out
- we should play infront of st holders, walk-up fans + away supporters

I was actually suggesting I THOUGHT we may have sold a few more (to casual supporters - not st holders, or a local business).
I was actually a little disapointed that we hadn't sold more. I fully appreciate its a hard job to attract casuals to (usually) non-entity games like Quins! A applaud the Marketing team for the work they do! They're the best in the buss

Well I thought we had already dismissed that they were being given away was wrong so be precise to keep everyone happy - what is wrong with hoping for more than 14K (i.e. the 10K season ticket holders + 4K at £4 a head)?

As for deason ticket holders, am sure we were inform that things like this were taken into consideration in the pricing structure.

Talking of quins there was necer 5200 in the stoop last nite there wasnt many fron saints either approx 500

The big test is how many of those come back.
