But its ok for you to tell me how I should spend my hard earned cash is it? Please don't fill me with all this "strategy bollox" that you mention because strategy doesn't come into it, the game is all about blowing the cobwebs off and giving people a run out. You can't get to academy games whereas I can therefore I've seen how the young lads are progressing and therefore don't need to see them in a pointless "friendly". I can and will watch the academy games throughout the season, something that I have always done in the past and will continue to do so in the future. The point you make about charity doesn't warrant a reply to be fair. At the end of the day if you want to go and watch the game and pay £20 then go ahead and do it, it doesn't affect me either way.

I’ll be attending, I’m sure there will be thousands of other fools to join me. After two months without any professional rugby £20 feels like an absolute bargain! As someone else already mentioned, these Leigh friendlies are usually better than quite a few of our regular season games. Particularly looking forward to seeing how Tierney and Powell get on, they both need a big season if they are to make it at the club IMO.

Should be a very good game, good atmosphere,good rugby,I do think the price is a bit expensive for a Friendly,and will put off a few Wigan fans as well as Leigh fans.

My word there are some real miserable folk knocking around on here, some people just miss stepping out and watching a reasonable game of Rubgy League after not seeing any live for circa 3 months.

Get down, watch the game, have a beer, chat with friends, boo the ref, shout "forward" for 80 mins and have some fun.

After three and a half weeks of visiting my mam in hospital who fell and broke her hip on Christmas Eve I'm looking forward to an afternoon off and a game of rugby. Four of us going to the game, we'll be in the Legends Bar from about 1 p.m. Come and have a chat, we don't bite.

Rogues ,you would be surprised how many older people have hips replaced and how they feel after,as for myself I had my right hip replaced at Wrightington in 1976,I was 23 years old ,and it's still going strong.

At some point on my way home, in the darkness somewhere near junction eight on the M6 I will be solemnly nodding in agreement with you and reaching for that very cap.
