only going off what I've been hearing in other places about us possibly loosing to Huddersfield so they get a pick and then they pick us again... but I cant see this happening either. Really looking forward to the game!

So basically I expect us to play Huddersfield in week 3 either way. The difference is we get a week off and home advantage if we win, if we lose we're away and have a tricky derby against Saints first. To my knowledge no coach has ever deliberately weakened his team for the play offs and I can't see it starting now.

The closer to the game we get, the more confident I feel. We've done well in the playoffs, even when we were average under Noble, we'd always raise our game. The team know they are capable of performing, I just wonder if they have kept their cards close to their chest for the last few weeks.

Huddersfield - well their fans are full of bravado. Will they be able to tough it out when all the pressure is on them? If Wigan can stick on a couple of early tries, Hudds will start to panic IMO. Totally different game now.

I disagree. If we win on Thurs then Hudds lose the pick in week 3. Surely Leeds/Warrington would pick Huddersfield leaving Leeds/Warrington to come to Wigan in week 3??

We could have the situation where Leeds get the choice of the two sides who finished above them. In that case I think they could pick Hudds.

Hasn't the clubcall side always picked the lowest placed team? Plus Leeds/Warrington will have the confidence of knowing they've just beaten Leeds/Warrington in week 1. That's my thinking anyway. Point is it's better for us to win on Thursday
