Nah our displays are nowhere near as good as your 2 16 year old schoolboys banging drums and singing "barmy army" for 25 minutes.

They had Andrew Johns for a couple of weeks....

They built their own ground out of lego bricks....

They won the challenge cup 2 times in a row....

They're the 2nd most famous club in all Cheshire....

Go back to your own board and talk about setting fire to innocent colour wearing fans or attacking people with planks of wood as they walk to the train station.

Why are you asking permission to do these things? Just get on with it (admittedly you need some club co-operation to hang flags from the roof).

I never replied to the previous thread but yes, Salford were the first club in RL to have an Ultra style group although the term Ultra was never used as we weren't even close to the real thing. I will dig out some of our photos when I get chance. Our finest moment was making our last major flag inside The Willows without the club even knowing about it (I'd like to see you pull that one off), made even sweeter because we were far from popular mainly due to a few smoke grenade related incidents and our ability to sneak stuff in to the stadium. Alas our continued pathetic performances have finally managed to drive even our hardiest fans in to apathy (me included) which is why nothing much happens anymore.

It's good to see other fans making an effort, it looks from the outside like you're far too involved with the club though.

It's funny how we hear from all the other fans (including saints) that the fans look quality and how the guys have done a quality job. It is only the wire fans who mouth off about it..... typical..... If it was Hull FC doing it then I am pretty sure wire fans would be saying it looks great etc. Just because it's Wigan the jealousy they have shines through.

im thinking the ultras is a bad idea,
makes the club sound like its got a firm, and this will only promote violence and even more bad feeling towards our club.
the supporters club should stay the riversiders and only that,
no ultras.

yes but you aimed it at me, and i'm not a casual, neither are most on the warrington board, therefore i pointed out your false generalisation.

I hate it, i really do, and ive heard loads of other fans with the same idea,
i know im going to shot saying this, but it seems to be since we are getting a bigger attendance, and the younger/football fans being converted to our game, the violence and provocation at games has gotten worse, and its not just a problem at wigan, its the same at warrington and leeds, and saints.
I supporters club, the riversiders, ultras need to back off.

As for your other comment, quite a few of us dont like the name ultras, I personally prefer Irregulars (yes, copied off Liverpool) but at the end of the day, regardless of the name that is used, we have done something within the South stand that has never been done to this extent in rugby league and whether you like it or not, looks the business when done proper as shown against st george. The club have given us permission to do it, nothing else, we are in no way connected to the powers that be at the club and have completely done it all with our own money and own ideas. You can take the p1ss all you want but nothing that any other club in RL has attempted has or is going to come anywhere near it.

And what exactly do the Riversiders do to support the team you tool? Do some research and have a look at who set up the Ultras. Its not a group of JCL chavs thats for sure!

Do you actually, personally know anyone that is involved in the flags and other stuff we do?? If not, keep it shut, since we formed and put on these displays we have had no violence, arrests or anything of that sort, we have just put a lot of colour into the South stand and made it feel like our home.

Tell you what then, we'll take all 30+ of our flags down, scrap all the big wavers we have had made, bin every banner, and leave it all to the Riversiders and see what they come up with shall we?

Ultras has never and never will claim to be any kind of supporters group - It's merely a group of loyal fans who would love to get an electric atmosphere into the DW and I for one am very proud of what has been acheived so far.

The flags are great when we go to away games and are ace when we go to France and make a real statement that Wigan are in town (and I have never witnessed trouble in France)

Violence??? What violence have you seen or even heard of because of the flags?? I'm 30 and when I was younger I wasn't allowed to go to certain games because of the violence its nothing new. Our coach has been bricked at 2 seperate away ground in the past 2/3 years - nothing to do with flags!!!

I don't normally bite and everyone is entitled to like, dislike, hate etc but to make comments as you have is just way OTT
