He'll be a decent signing for Warrington but he's not going to make a huge difference or do that much more for them then Hicks would have done.

After saying this why are we in England prepared to accept a player who probably will not be allowed to be registered in Australia according to press reports because of his mad Monday escapades, obviously that is OK whereas some other players have been refused work permits for arguably a lot less offensive behaviour. I couldn't care less about the morality but the double standards do warrant some scepticism.

joel will be a great signing, but i have to say the jokes on here are funny, especially the lyrics to she wore a yellow riibon by Abe Frohman.

Richards for one!! And he's not a patch on Richards IMO. Hes about Roberts standard.....good international class wingman but not world class.

He will be a decent signing but hes not in the world class category. TBH I expect him to have a stinker for the first year to 18 months anyway, in the same way as matt king, especially because he has been forced away from home, and will find it difficult with inevitable barking noices from the opposition fans every time he picks up a ball next season!



I recon Wire would be better playing Chris Rilley for the first 12 months of his contract for this reason, and he certainly wont be as good as hicks would have been. Could be a mistake by the wires IMO especially in the short term.

Richards is not world class! did you watch any games involving Wigan lat year he was the stand out player of Super League, Monaghan is a class player but Pat is in a different league completely.
