To make an analogy with football. I've always made the following comparisons:

Wigan = Liverpool (Long history of dominance. Lean period early 2000s but getting back to where they once were)

St Helens = Man U (Long rivalry with Wigan/Liverpool. Recent dominance much to the annoyance of said rivals. Fans can have a conversation though.)

Wire = Everton (Small time club. No real history to speak of. Think they're one of the big boys. Fans bitter till the end and will bring up any success as it's all they've got)

That's right. We also won the Premiership Trophy twice but like I said a couple of posts back I'm still happy with our last 10 years compared to Warrington. Very happy in fact.

Leigh isnt our derby because we all know Leigh is a small town in Wigan....our biggest derby is saints because its just over the hill and we have a huge fan base and both been very succesful.

Why Warrington fans try to argue with Wigan and Stains fans about cup success is beyond me ?

I said major trophies!!!!!!!!! So in the last 15 years you have won one more major trophy than us,yet you consider yourselves a much bigger club? Interesting thought process that!

I do. As I pointed out a few posts back. I have my memories of the last 10 years and many of them. Other cup finals (albeit lost), many play off memorable wins and quite a few wins both home & away v Saints and other major sides.

Apart from the cup final what are the other Warrington memories of the last 10 years? I remember you winning in a play off game at Leeds because I was actually there in attendance but what else?

I'm not arguing about cup success i'm arguing at being called a small club.

You're looking silly mate, Wigan are the 2nd most successful club in the whole game, we are not 1st or 3rd not even in the top 10.

Just not blind to the facts

Fool, nothing wrong with defending your team when they are being branded a 'small club and worthless'.

Many happy memories. One of which up until this year was watching your lot turn up at our ground every year for their annual thrashing!

OK Josh.. So have you read the letter in the League Express?? no because if you had you certainly wouldn't be on here trying to defend your club. The letter is an embarrasment to your club and just shows the small time club mentallity you have at the Wire. I certainly would have been supprised if it had come from Saints/leeds/ bradford etc.. For some reason I wasnt supprised that the massive warrington club had resorted to such acts and especially from their CEO... maybe he should look more into security at the HJ to protect away supporters rather than spend his time writting a letter to the league express to celebrate the fact that the HJ is 7 years old!!
