| Really glad we got rid of Feka after yesterdays game, Jeff Lima was 5 times the player.
Feka seems he is at his fattest and unfittest I've ever seen him.

I said the very same thing when they both came onto the pitch. Was stood in Salford end (it was closer to the only bar that was open).
Lima and Feka came into contact within 2 minutes. Lima stopped Feka dead in his tracks.

| Feka is an impact player and that's what he did for us.
At times he really did knock the opposition forwards about.
After yesterday I don't think he will be capable of being an impact player. He is so overweight I felt sorry for him. Surely must be over 20st.
Lima is all round a far better player than Feka and that was very obvious throughout the game.

| I think Feka will always been remembered fondly. He was a very pleasant guy off the field, and on it there were times when he really was a raging beast - unfortunately he couldn't sustain it long enough to be any real use to us.
I still feel he was at fault in the Warrington CC semi, when the opposition just ran through a massive gap in the middle of the field, though Noble was also partly to blame for taking off two tacklers both at the same time (or is my memory playing tricks?).

At the end of the day, you go to games because you support your team and want to see them win but you also go to be entertained.
Feka provided some terrific entertainment in his time at Wigan, which is why he'll be remembered fondly - not because he was that good a player.

He used to knock players flying, on a one off drive he was the best in the league. Problem was he didn't have the stamina or the speed in defence. Last year he didn't even do the job of an impact player, don't know whether they were trying to train him to be a normal prop or what but it didn't work.

Is this the Feka backlash starting already ?
probably not seen him before in an all white strip, he's hard not to miss !
Salford have yet to use him to advantage , taking the ball in from a standing start 3 yards out . I think the plays will come ( running from deep - wider out etc ).
Lima certainly make an impact and I think he will go well for you.
Feka's already had a great impact off the field at Salford since he's arrived. I'm going to give more than one game for us on field before I pass such judgement.
There was a fair amount of good hits from both sides for a first outing and it would've been even more enjoyable had it not been for Bentham's over jealous whistle blowing.

| I hope Feka goes well for Salford because I like the guy and I like the club but i'm not sure how it will pan out. He seemed to struggle to motivate himself to keep fit at a club in Wigan he said he loved with all his heart and he's already said how heartbreaking it was not to be offered a new deal with the club so I think it's a gamble for Salford.
If he keeps getting the ball at a standing start like Yesterday one thing is for sure he won't be as big a fans favourite at Salford as he was here because he looked nothing more then a decent plodder and not the wrecking ball we saw at times.

| I just don't think 'The Walrus' will push him hard enough like Maguire did at Wigan last season. He's already put 2-3 stone back on. Maybe he will play through the season like he did under Noble - 35 mins per match, four or five drives per half and half a dozen tackles?
Hope he goes okay though, seems a nice guy - loved his 'behind the back thumbs up' to the Wigan fans.

Exactly.
He's the kind of player you turn to if you can't get out of your own 30 and need some yards, gives the crowd and the team a bit of a lift. The problem is trying to find the right times to introduce him to maximise his effect.

He'll go well for you. It sure will come a fans favourite very quickly, his downfall at Wigan is that he wasnt used correctly as a pure impact player. For a few seasons prior to 2010 he has to play too much game time and it became a problem in the defensive line when a quick footed player would target him and run around him.
Use him correctly and there isnt many better impact props in SL.

Using Feka correctly though is the hardest task youll find though.
Yeah you can intend to use him for just impact at certain points of the game, and use him to your advantage but last season - we was the best side in the competition, we had the best defence but yet other teams exploited Feka in defence when he come on to add impact.
He is a luxury even the Champions couldnt afford last season,, hes a top guy and wore his heart on his sleeve and loved the Wigan club but his professionalism within getting himself to a fit and able standard to perform to a standard every game for at least 40/50 minutes is debatable.
