To be fair it was a very good achievement for the Featherstone team. I wouldn't have give them a cats in hell chance of beating the Wigan team beforehand.

After seeing the result I expected the Fev team to be made up of first team players and was pretty amazed at their make-up. I believe Fev deserve plenty of praise for what they did and what they appear to be doing with their youth development.

Whilst obviously they are going a bit over board in some of the posts a little giddiness can be understood and I'm sure tolerated.

How has that not been spotted? I thought refs were meant to count the players at kick off? If he'd snuck on then I'd give him the benefit of the doubt but that is shocking.

Well we have won that comp 4 years in a row and have some games in hand to play yet. Not been a great season but a long way to go yet.

And this 10 men thing. I make it at least 2 and half minutes that Featherstone played with 10 men at the start of the second half. We actually scored during that period, but they got to defend a powerplay with 10 men.

Good enough what a joke that is we have won the league for the last 2 seasons how much better do we have to be. Yes sod the rules we dont want the mighty Wigin having to disrupt there team so we will let them have 5 overseas players and Fev 1. Shaun Wane wouldnt of dared take us on with the same rules and you know it. The pic of the 9 a side means nothing the extra player could of been ordered off before the restart. Your next remark makes me think im talking to one of Wigins plastic new fans, where do you think the Briscoes (hull) Hardaker (leeds) and Raynor the only GB player to come back from the Aussie tour with any credit all came from. The RFL give you 100k to supplement your youth we get fek all, so just imagine how many more we could produce given the same treatment. The RFL should follow there own respect campaign message and treat all member clubs the same thats all we ask

Yes you were outstanding against us and ran us very close, but one swallow doesn't make a summer. Exeter drew at Old Trafford once in the FA Cup. Do you think they would survive in the Premier League? You raised your game against the cup holders, favourites and league leaders but you have a long way to go to be able to sustain that week in week out.

I don't think we would be in that position if we didn't have Mellor, Marsh and Russell out on loan. Added to the fact that we currently use Tuson, Hughes, Tomkins, Spencer, Crosby and Lloyd in the first team squad because of injuries in the first team.

Throw in the games in hand and our recent record of winning that league as well! Your argument looks daft! We are almost as good at winning the under 20's league as saints are at losing GF's.

Aren't the majority of the U20's side eligible for the U18's as well?

I agree with what you're saying in principle, but I think you're clutching at straws including Tuson in that. He made his debut 4 years ago and now has over 50 1st team appearances. I'd add Dudson and Gelling to your list though, they have got a lot more 1st team action than I think anybody anticipated.

This season Wane seems to want to give his older 20s more first team experience by using the dual-reg/loan system, plus the link-up with South Wales Scorpions.

I think he is still only 21 though, maybe 22.

He wouldn't be in the 17 if everyone was fit.

Not sure how you can say that with so much confidence considering Monday was the first game he's missed all season.

Why? If you pick the squad based on performance then surely Hughes would be picked ahead of Tuson. As much as people say things like 'Tuson tackles well' so does Hughes and Hughes does a lot more in attack too.
