What i really find gutting now is that we are the richest club in the league yet because of this thing they call a salary cap* we can't buy the league and cups like a certain other team did.

I've got to go now we have a crucial league game Barnet open age v Hendon under 8's , should be a hard one this can only see us getting maybe 50.

Oh yeah - Apparently, players OFFERING and AGREEING to defer some of their salary until the next season (when it would STILL have counted on the cap) is worse than paying £10k+ per game to an ageing Aussie.

It is a fact though. Greatest Histories in the history of Rugby League on this side of the pennines go Wigan, St Helens, Widnes, Salford, Broughton then come Warrington.

Late on the Briers/Tomkins debate, but Briers would, and has, torn Tomkins a new .

I would expect nothing less of a 30odd year old half back compared to a relatively new starter. But Sam already has more test caps than Briers (not including Briers efforts for Wales).
