What exactly did Morley do?

I have been thinking that from the first 10 mins. I was expecting punches thrown after watching 10 mins.

Shame, a good game whose true result will always be in doubt.

That second try was one of the worst forward passes I've seen in a long time, and the try given after the obstruction was a joke.

Exciting stuff though.

Probably a large proportion of the morons who support them. It's going to be down to you lot this year to save British Rugby League from that lot winning the double. Obviously I don't want you lot to win anything however your far and away the lesser of two evils.

Overall tonight was a good example of everything that is bad about Super League and rugby league in the U.K in general - inconsistent refereeing, high shots galore, ridiculously quick releases from the tackle, an incorrect video refereeing call, eddie and stevo creaming themselves over an error strewn match and two average sides making basic errors.

I counted four high shots, two direct to the back of the head..obviously that doesn't seem to count. Although most of the Wire players were going high, what a dirty team they were tonight.

I don't think it was obstruction.
If you look again the push (shoulder) actually takes Meli towards the Wire player.

The first Wire try was really poor play from a Saints pov, and I'll bet Simmons is fuming. 1st set of the game and Roby goes head down @rse up on the fourth tackle.

That left a poor pass from acting half (where Roby should have been) I'm not sure who made the pass and put Gaskell in trouble.
Great game for the neutral to watch and was decided on who gave the penalties away.

Some of the tackles tonight were very poor (head high). The stupid thing is that I doubt any of them will be brought up before the disciplinary.

It was obstruction - he made Meli lose his balance as well. If that had gone against Wigan you would have been livid.

It was 50/50 but at the end of the day you could have killed that game off when you took the lead but didn't

Interesting game though.

Probably the best call on a poor thread.....Half time came at the right time for Wire. Saints were on a big roll and Wire were on the back foot and struggling to regroup.

Second half started as a close battle, but Monaghan was the difference.....Arguably the 2 best hookers in the comp on show tonight and Monas just came out on top.

Sorry to disappoint you but most were just commenting on the actual game played....with a few players back i would be more worried about facing Saints than the Wire..you lot just need to worry about beating Hudds in the future..

I've also got to say... Foster's kick from half way ONTO the cross bar would have been great had it been a penalty kick. A very unlucky moment for him. An inch less on it, and it would have been a ricochet and possibly regaining possession. I think he'll be feeling more deflated than anyone else in the Saints side tonight.

This post sums up this thread. The only intelligent comments have come from Rogues (which I would Expect), and King Warrior (how did London go?). The rest are just awful. There was nothing wrong with the Wire fans tonight and both sets of supporters behaved superbly during the events prior to the match to commemorate the death of a a former Warrington player, who was also a Wigan lad. Did any of you bother to listen to Paul Wood after the game?
