I was surprise at how poor Quins were to be honest. The game was never in doubt before Howell got sent off. They looked lethargic.

I thought Joel Tomkins had a good game for us, as did TL and Riddell played the best I have seen him. Not sure what happened to Pat getting out jumped twice and he left the kicking boots very much at home.

Sam's kicking was excellent and a nice moment when the announcer made the MoM award about a minute after he got sin binned



I had forgotten how huge Pryce is. Not quite sure what to make of his display. I don't think he did much wrong but he looks off the pace which is understandable.

We got the points but overall not a very high quality game and in the end we ended up at Quins level as it got scrappy which is IMO almost inevitable.

Pat - Out jumped a couple of times and his conversions were simply rank.

Not one of his better games - Get it sorted lad..!

For the try where he was out jumped he was always an outside bet, he was turning and had no momentum. Ainscough would have been hung out to dry though had he made the same play.

I admire his bravery. He'll put his body on the line and thats always great to see in any fullback.

watched it again and he got up quicker than last time I saw it,


like I said reckless tackle with no intent to harm him, the sending off should be enough as punishment with a £300 fine, anything else would go against the grain that the RFL have been dishing out of late

We stopped playing with 15 mins left which put a downer on it for me. With the likes of Leeds and St He**ns coming up weve gotta be putting in high tempo 80 minute shifts or we'll get found out against the top 2.

Great to see the crowd in the north stand, the occasion is so much more enjoyable with a big crowd... hope we get something similar sorted for next week

Ganson had already given Sam 10 minutes for the second back chat. He then called Sam over to explain and then pulled the yellow card out as an afterthought, but as I said he'd already held up the 10 fingers before calling Sam over.

I was very impressed with Sharp, broke plenty of tackles and caused us a bit of trouble.

The person running onto the ball is always going to have the advantage over the defender that's why it's a very useful option to use.

His conversions weren't that far off after watching the game again. Very unlucky. He hasn't just suddenly forgot how to kick. I think it was just an off day for Pat and I'm sure next week he will be back to his usual self.

Yeah think that must of been him.

Very raw but showed what he can do.

It was never a 'tackle'. It was a deliberate thuggish cowardly shot with an elbow straight into the jaw. The whistle had already gone, he saw Sam coming and lined him up. No way can anyone sane and reasonable justify that kind of behaviour. The more you defend it, the more you look like a tool.

was,nt saying sorry, spoke to sam after the game and asked him what he said to ganson. he said,( dya hear saints av been beat) an he showed me a yellow. class. not just a great player but witty aswell. seems mr ganson does,nt have a sense of humour. keep smiling sam.
