I'm pretty disappointed that this still hasn't happened. I bought my membership the day we were told full length games would be available 14 days after they are played because I wanted to make sure I would be able to watch our play off games. Now I feel like I've wasted two months of my membership. I would have waited if I had known that Wigan TV would not do what it advertised to do.

I signed up to Wigan TV last night and I must say I am really disappointed with it! Is it just me or when you click on a link to watch a game it just takes you to the most recent video and the game I want to watch fails to load?

That happened when I tried to watch a match last night but it all seems to be working fine tonight, someone must have sorted it with some percussion maintainance

I don't want to sound like a boring git either, but some of the latest videos of the players in Orlando contains swear words and there should really be a warning about that.

Will you be covering the friendly games?

The friendly games will be online sometime after the final whistle. We are looking into other options and will be making announcements over the next few weeks.

Just wondering what the season costs you on wigan tv? Rovers have got an ad on hullkr tv to say existing members can renew for same as last year (£35) which is an absolute bargain. Or £45 for new subscribers.

How do you gain access if have subscribed as a season ticket holder over the phone with the club?
The club have taken my money a few days ago for season ticket renewals plus subscribed to Wigan TV but not had any email / information on how to gain access.

Tried to activate via the website and it's trying to charge me £35 card/paypal.

EDIT #2 - Had a bog standard email from the club this morning informing me I need to renew before 21st December to gain a 22% saving against match tickets. (Bearing in mind I renewed two weeks ago and my cash has been accepted).

I noticed that it has been confirmed today on the Wigan TV page that all the home academy games will be shown. Excellent.

Does that include the U16's games?

We will try and get as many as possible on Wigan TV, but not all can me film to a high standard. If we have a copy of the game, it wil go on Wigan TV.

Some will also be streamed Live, but we have not confirmed which games or age groups.

Sounds like a good deal to me. In fact I would be delighted if Wire set up something similar to this.

Fantastic vale, it's just that I had a few problems following the live interviews tonight.
It was o.k about an hour after it had finished though. I am sure there will be teething problems and it's better to get them sorted out sooner rather than later.

What a strange business model.

For the match highlight we have to follow rights restrictions. We would like to show the games as soon as we can, we will try and get all highlights on the site as soon as possible.

We did are first live stream last night, we are looking to improve this as the season goes on, and look forward to doing a lot more.

The Wigan club restricting rights of the TV channel owned by the Wigan club?

As I said, a very strange business model.

I presume Sky and/or the BBC?

My guess is that a tv deal was signed that gives Sky/BBC priority over highlights (possibly a full week on the iplayer for the BBC). Then possibly the Super League website, and really ventures like this wern't forseen and thus not taken into account within the deal. I remember for example when Liverpool FC TV launched they couldn't show Liverpool's FA Cup Matches, as they launched mid FA Cup tv contract, for a few seasons, but once the new contract came around they new do show those matches delayed. I'm totally second guessing but I'm sure it's restrictions out of the clubs hands. I mean the club these days clearly is not the shoddy token gesture operation that we saw when Whelan was owner. If they could have the full match up by 10pm on a Friday Night, I'm sure they would!
