He'll definitely give you punch wherever he plays. He's not the biggest but he runs it in as though he was!



I hope he does play 2nd row for you guys as that's where he could stake a claim for us too. We have so much strength at prop that he'll struggle to find a place there. The fact that we've just loaned 2 out and are still debating which 2 or 3 will need to miss out in order to give Walters some game time tells you just how competitive it is in that position here.

I do think he'll make a good 2nd rower given time. He has good hands, boundless energy and runs it in hard. He also has a very useful offload. He may struggle positionally initially, particularly in defence, but I genuinely believe he'd make the transition given time. I've advocated the move several times during discussions on this board

Eseh back on loan to Cas

Really, he was quite vocal about playing the middle when he signed on with you guys.

He was actually very vocal about playing in the backrow when he signed.

He was signed as a secondrow who can fill in at prop, not the other way round both he and the club mentioned it when he was recruited.

According to the list of players circulated to clubs who have not been offered deals by their respective clubs Isa and Cooper have not been offered new contracts with us.

GF win would be a fitting send off for either player but especially for Isa,great club man.

To be honest I think that is the correct decision. We have got to create a pathway for our young guns. Have said that, I would like to see both of them have some involvement next season, perhaps stepping in for Lockers and Tommy whilst they are in Australia.

As much as I like both and I think Isa is a bit of a cult legend, I think it’s the best decision, we have a great crop of forwards waiting in the wings.

Was hoping for this to be announced. He's added a lot to both his game and our team in the last 12 months or so. A different player to the one we signed originally. Hopefully he'll keep up the standards he's now set himself.

Mago makes perfect sense now we have seen Eseh. I know, i know. It was one game but it looks like he is going to need a bit of time. Could see him back at Wakey next season on a loan deal. He has got plenty of time yet.

In fairness to that rumour there was a Wigan fan who repleid to say that Walters looked quite disinterested in the reserve game despite scoring a try. It could be a load of rubbish but his attitude at Leeds was questioned numerous times....

Also I made the Eseh comment and stand by it. It could've been the camera angle and he may be huge in real life however I personally thought he looked lightweight last Friday.
