Truth is, whilst he’s a decent player, he’s our back up full back. Our first choice full back is fit and playing great rugby so I have no issues with it.

Same as so far, loads of effort, same predictable plays that Saints are seeing way too easily.

Being bullied in defence and attack. Luke Thompson for Saints is a shining example of where our props should be. Powell hasn’t a creative bone in his bloody body.

Same play, Saints see it every time and pick the runner out and we knock on. It's pathetic really that our coach can't see that we've been sussed.

I’ll finish on a decent note but I think Hankinson has shown up quite well tonight considering the step up. Few mistakes but I can see potential there.

I hated that performance, I really did. No attacking enterprise whatsoever. Can't knock the effort in defence (it was only 2 tries to 1) but utterly useless with ball in hand.

Sam has just said then in an interview “You can’t fault our effort...tonight was close but they were just a little bit better...it doesn’t matter if you lose one game”

Effort? What effort? You mean the brief 5minutes at 70minutes in? A little bit better? They didn’t leave second gear because they didn’t have to. And the comment about losing a game just sums up the attitude at Wigan currently.

Agreed, wane needs to be relieved of his duties and let McCormack take over for the rest of the season

Lets hope Greenwood starts actually running onto the ball soon. Every time he gets it hes virually stood still and then breaks into a jog.
